A hidden gem in the heart of Llani, The Old Mill, which opened in August 2013, is primarily a family friendly café-bar.
Our aim is to be a creative, social hub. Both in terms of the events we put on and the food and drinks we serve we want to make the most of what the local area has to offer. And with so much local talent around, we think we’d be mad not to!
We operate as a brewery tap for the award winning Llanidloes based Waen brewery with at least 3 different ales on offer every day, including guest ales from around the country. We also sell a range of quality bottled beers, wines, cider, cocktails, tea, coffee and more.
We serve lunch 11am – 2pm, with a menu focusing on local produce. Llanidloes is very lucky to have a wonderful range of producers and we hope to be a showcase for the food that is produced locally. Also running at the venue is micro-bakery, Andy’s Bread. The kitchen is also part of the Llani Kitchens community kitchen project.
We run lots of regular events, including music sessions, a fantastic comedy night, quiz, pop-up restaurant nights, krafty kittens and lots more! Check our events page for details of what’s on this month.
